Temple with Nick October 14, 2008

This Tuesday we went to the temple with Nick. It was an extremely great experience. He looked and seemed so happy. I am very grateful for the great blessings I have in being a mother and a wife. I absolutely love our family. Nick took one more great step this week and many more to follow. I hope he knows that his dad and mom are really happy to be part of his life.

Thanks to the Ashby's, Hartmans, Pat, Mark, Dugger's, Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Nicks friend Becky for being there and supporting Nick at this time.

Rocky Point Mexico 2008

We went to Rocky Point on Thursday for fall break. We stopped part way for a bathroom break and gas at the WHY NOT station. So we decided to take a few pictures. We carravaned with the Hakes family. The Ashbys caught up to us real fast and then we met the Clement family at Rocky Point.
The Clement family in our ward had reserved alot of spaces at a campsite right on the beach for everyone. The Hakes and Ashbys were there as well as Chandler and Adrienne Dugger. We set up our tents which was a real trial in itself because Hurricane NorBert was passing down the south of us and made it really REALLLY windy. I had to finally pull my hair back and borrow a hat from Bert to keep my hair from whipping me in the face. Once we got everything set up we hit the beach and the crazy waves.

Shishkbobs...

Monkeys at Russles

Russle Trone and his sweet family and in-laws live at Rocky Point. We went to see them and enjoyed their spider monkeys.

LOTS OF WIND!!! But lots of FUN!!!

Beautiful sunset at Rocky Point

The sunsets at Rocky Point are amazing. Shaylene took a few pictures with her dad's camera. Of course you have to have games and music when you are camping. We also had a movie that Gary rigged for us.

Saturday at Rocky Point

Saturday we got up and did some shopping. I got vanilla, Bert got shrimp for us to take home and the rest of the kids got a few little treasures. We had fun haggling down prices and such.

Sand dunes in Rocky Point

The kids really enjoyed the sand dunes at Rocky Point.
Unfortunately they didn't wear helmets and Nolan side swapped a
wall with his head and ended up with a concussion. We came home Saturday night instead of Sunday just to make sure we were in Arizona if he got worse. He's way better and smarter. Helmet next time... RIGHT NOLAN!!!
